AVM’s Fritz!Box uses the AAL2-G726 codec. So make sure to configure your Asterisk accordingly, just allow the codec “AAL2-G726″.

A nice tools to stop brute force password attacks onto your server
I found this very nice tool called DenyHosts. DenyHosts is a script intended to be run by Linux system administrators to help thwart SSH server attacks (also known as dictionary based attacks and brute force attacks).
