Luxembourg’s Regulator has published to web-based number-portability database look-up portals for the fixed and mobile networks.

Luxembourg’s regulator (ILR) recently announced the availability of a new number portability database for the fixed numbers. This database will replace a flat file in PDF format currently available at the ILR website. The regulator intends to launch the new database on 1 July  2010. The database will include an end-user access to query phone numbers 1-by-1, exactly like the access available for the Mobile number portability database on telcom.lu .

While ILR has asked all the operators to populate the new database until 15 June 2010, at the time of writing the new database contained data from exactly one operator.
