On June 25 AVM released a new firmware which brings support for Clearmode codec. A codec used to transport data over VoIP. This is usefull for telematic equipement, Credit Card terminals or equivalent devices. Unfortunately I haven’t tested this feature.

Yesterday we setup one of the first real .tel domains, voipgate.tel. The content is constantly evolving, so check it out 😀 Many thanks to euroDNS for making this happen! UPDATE: eurodns.tel is now live as well.
