Fixing Twittertools to post URL of your blog post [UPDATE]

So I got this WordPress plugin Twittertools from Alex King which promises to publish your blog posts to twitter including an link back to your blog post. Unfortunately there is a hardcoded tweet format setting in the twitter-tools.php file:

AVM Fritz!Box 7270 allows to run VoIP over UMTS

Some while ago AVM released firmware version 54.04.70 which added support for an UMTS Internet access, later this year version 54/74.04.76 added more feature to the UMTS uplink.

I always wanted to test VoIP over UMTS using a Fritz!Box, end of July I finally had the time to setup a testing scenario with a stable UMTS coverage. AVM releases IPv6 BETA firmwares for international Fritz!Box versions

AVM just released 2 IPv6-enabled BETA firmwares for the international versions of the Fritz!Box models 7270 and 7570 VDSL.

Advertisements within .tel

Recently Telnic released a whitepaper on Advertisements within .tel, at first sight a feature for domainers, but there is more.

Very recently I added a sub-folder called links to my .tel domain and moved all the links to other websites etc to this sub-folder, the listing on the front page just got to long. With Ads I can have some of the links back on the front page and still have a short listing of personal contact details. Continue reading “Advertisements within .tel”

Visitor Like/Dislike Rating plugin breaks my WordPress

I cannot remember when I installed these two Like/Dislike modules. However since at least WordPress version 2.8.3 these plugins break the posting process of new posts.
